If you love candles a wick trimmer is a MUST HAVE! Keeping your candle wick trimmed to 1.5cm at all times helps control the amount of soot created when your candle burns. Too much wick (or a wick too long or mushroomed ) creates a combustion problem, and carbon particles are then absorbed by the flame, causing excess soot and smoke. So trim your candle wicks to 1.5cm each and every time you relight them.
