Waimarama Beach - Bare Island

Motu-O-Kura / Bare Island is a picturesque craggy island off the coast of Waimarama Beach in the Hawke's Bay region. It lies 2km off the coast in the Pacific Ocean. It is a stunning backdrop to a popular beach. The day Anthony arrived here Waimarama Beach was covered in straggly seaweed so his two kids helped clear the beach. The resulting photo was captured with a long exposure which helps to soften the sea and capture the passing cloud.
