Te Whare o Te Whakaiti

our larger blanket with a characteristically strong design using thicker yarn. The Jacquard weave structure resembles the feel of our traditional muka kaitaka. Made using 100% New Zealand Lambswool, 42 threads per square cm and 5 different weave structures it features a blanket stitch edge. It is lightly scoured and has a washed finish. A slightly heavier weight and with a reversible pattern for twice the decorative potential. The 4 yarn colours used are a deep rusty red, rice ,timber and coal.
