Our three year spontaneously fermented wild ale Evolutas. Inspired by the lambic beers of Brussels Evolutas was fermented with airborne microbes captured from both the North End of Kapiti Island and from the North End Brewery in Waikanae. Exactly three years in a 500L oak puncheon has transformed the beer into a softly carbonated, tangy, sour, funky ‘sourdough’ beer fit for the dinner table.

Our American style India Pale Ale started out as a collaboration with a legendary brewer from Oregon in the North West United States. We took the American IPA style and substituted American varieties of hops for New Zealand grown ones. We have tweaked the recipe and made it our own. North End Seasonal Range We have a Zeal for the autumn harvest. As the summer burns itself out the pungent green buds of the hop bines ripen to a heady exotic fruit salad. This harvest IPA utilises the fresh pungency of green unkilned hops to give an intense fruity tropical character. The beer with which to raise a toast to the farmers who keep us fed.
