BONE TIKI
The Tiki is a very ancient symbol and is by far the least understood. There are a number of legends in relation to its meaning. Some legends say the tiki came from the stars and that he was the first man of the world. Often tiki are depicted with webbed feet which suggests a link to the creatures of the sea.
Other legends say tiki was respected as the teacher of all things and the wearer of this symbol is therefore seen to possess clarity of thought, loyalty, great inner knowledge and strength of character.
Perhaps most commonly, tiki is seen as a symbol of fertility, and was believe to have been worn by women seeking to have children. It was seen as a way to improve fertility.
