ARCTIC PROTECTOR

- Inanga Pounamu Manaia Pendant

Hand carved for us by Kyohei Noguchi, made from New Zealand Inanga jade.

a traditional Manaia design. In Māori culture, the Manaia is a guardian spirit, often worn to maintain a connection with ancestors. It serves as a tangible reminder to draw upon ancestral strength and wisdom when confronting challenges. This piece is a finely crafted example, made from a rare inanga pounamu. It is eminently suited for this purpose.

Take a moment to watch the short video we have made which shows the pendant slowly rotating. This will give you a very clear picture of the shape nuances and the colour of the stone - it's well worth the few moments it will take you to watch it.

The Manaia: a mythical being believed to be the invisible light, or aura, surrounding a person. They represent spiritual power and are believed to be the guide that leads the spirits to heaven. They are worn to guide and protect.

This pendant will be delivered to you with Express Courier on a hand plaited adjustable cord. We will also include our 'Kia Ora' card, which explains the meaning behind the Manaia design.
