not quite a stone, and not quite a planet, but a little of both. This cupped disc, carved from a spectacular and rare piece of Nelson jade, holds a quiet universe within its curve. The face is a storm-front grey, but turn it over and discover its secret: the convex back is a weathered canvas of cream and yolk-yellow, like a map of forgotten constellations, or lichen on ancient stone.
