We have named this piece the patron of making connections. The twist is a symbol of connection. In its simple form, like this one, it general relates to a connection between two people - an unbreakable and shared bond.

As the messenger of the gods, was the divine communicator. He was the god of roads, travel, trade, and commerce - all things that connect different people and places.

There are a couple of reasons this is a particularly nice piece - Ric has carved it from a beautiful piece of Marsden jade. The stone is a deep green with a smattering of wispy white 'clouds' throughout. The design is a gorgeous teardrop shape, beautifully executed - all in all, a very fine piece of jade jewellery.
