A striking Koru sculpture, hand carved by New Zealand Master Jade Carver, Artist and Teacher - Ric Moor.

Ric has used beautiful New Zealand Flower Jade for this koru, and a deep grey New Zealand Basalt Stone for the base - this is quite a piece and will make an outstanding sculpture and discussion piece for someone's home.

Ric carves a limited number of sculptures - each piece an original 'one-off', so we are delighted to have this available for sale.

The stand is a lovely design, and gently holds the pounamu to best display its striking design. The stone for the stand is beach basalt that Ric collects from the coast in front of his house - a fitting material for this gorgeous sculpture!
