Our tree specialist and ecologist, Derek Craig will demonstrate the traditional art of how to join a piece of the tree you want onto a suitable root stock using the cleft method, the most successful technique used for grafting. Bring along a grafting knife if you have one or a sharp stanley knife (or similar) to practice your new skill on the day.
