Wave DIstro PUMP Duo Twin Empirical Labs PUMP Compressors In a Single Rackspace

The PUMP Duo is one of several Wave Distro PowerGrid Duo 500 Series products.

PUMP Duo comprises a pair of Empirical Labs PUMP Classic Knee Compressor Modules mounted horizontally in a single-rackspace Wave Distro Powergrid Duo enclosure.

PowerGrid Duo enclosures feature recessed slots that enable two 500 Series modules to be flush mounted for a clean look, and provide XLR inputs and outputs.

The PUMP is a fully analog single-channel compressor that shares family DNA with the legendary Distressor® compressor, along with select features from the Arousor® compressor plugin and the Mike-e® microphone preamp. The PUMP offers eight compression ratios from 2:1 to 20:1 (each with an optimized curve), digitally stepped Attack and Release controls, a Detector high-pass filter, soft-saturation clipping, and comprehensive gain-reduction metering.
