OUR ETHOS

Our Pāua is harvested under a quota management system in New Zealand. Each shell is collected by hand and recorded by the diver, who wears a data logger that tracks their location and number of shells gathered. The New Zealand Pāua Industry Council uses this information to ensure the resource is managed sustainably — protecting its beauty for generations to come.
