Hand built with black clay finished with surface washes. Hand built sculptures with a bit of humour that most people can relate to. Fisher people that are happy to show off their catch and cat people that are, well, cat people with cats that don’t always cooperate. Just everyday life people.
Anya Mowll works mainly on one-off ceramic sculptures. She is inspired by structures in nature like shells, skeletons and corals.
