1980s Colourblock Wool Knit Sweater Dress

This dress is knitted in wool blend with a soft, brushed hand, worked in bands of deep teal, red and blue that stack in wide horizontal stripes down the length of the skirt. A narrow red and blue stripe trim sits at the empire seam, just below the bust, where the bodice gathers before dropping straight to the hem. The crew neckline and long sleeves keep the top half simple, leaving the colour blocking to do the work below.
Wear it with tall boots and simple jewellery to let the stripes lead, or add contrasting shoes for something a bit. more.
