Jade Green Tiger Barb

Green Tiger Barb At Paws and Claws Manawatu, Green Tiger Barbs are a bold, high-energy choice for aquariums that can handle a bit of attitude and a lot of movement.

This striking colour morph of the classic Tiger Barb features a deep green body with dark vertical stripes and flashes of orange in the fins. They are active, fast-swimming fish that thrive in groups and bring constant action to the mid-level of the tank.

Green Tiger Barbs do best in larger aquariums with plenty of swimming space and should be kept in schools to reduce fin-nipping behaviour. When housed correctly, they make an exciting addition to semi-aggressive or robust community setups.
