250 meters south of Montrachet – the domaines oldest vines.

Made from centenarian vines. Pale in colour, very intense pure white fruit on the nose, little sign of the wood. A perfect expression of fruit in the mouth with a generosity, balanced ripeness, excellent acidity, all harmonious. Hard to do better from a single plot of Chassagne, as opposed to a harmonious cuvée ronde. Drink from 2028-2034.
