2023, Domaine Darviot-Perrin, CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET, 1er Cru, 'Les Bondues'

“Les Bondues" is a small, prestigious, eastern-facing Premier Cru vineyard located 100 yards south of Montrachet. Bondues is a lieu-dit within Chenevottes. The Darviots are the only vignerons to have Pinot Noir in this particular vineyard.

Planted in the 1950s. A fresh bright purple, quite firm on the nose, from these old vines. A darker berried and cherried fruit on the nose, plenty of energy behind on the palate, tannins and acidity well integrated, and the energetic savoury cherry fruit behind. Drink from 2028-2032.
