Grown on soils containing chips of pink granite - hence the name - on the steep south-east facing slopes of Fleurie. Very elegant style. Dark ruby with a purple rim. From very finely ground granite loaded soil with manganese deposits this displays a very mineral nose and a dark intensity. A little more tannin and a real capacity to age well.
