2020, Domaine de Bel-Air, FLEURIE "Les Granits Roses"

Grown on soils containing chips of pink granite - hence the name - on the steep south-east facing slopes of Fleurie. Very elegant style.

Dark ruby with a purple rim. Soft & warm fruit nose redolent of strawberries with a touch of mandarin peel. Lovely tangy acidity - but plush still in the mouth. Juicy but very fine with an ethereal quality and refreshing finish. JK
