A fine even lemon yellow. Racy on the nose, not as immediately distinguished as Guotte d'Or but the qualities creep up on you. More linear, a suggestion of salinity, with layers of pure limestone white fruit, plenty of dry extract affirms Henri Boillot. Very persistent. 93-95 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy.

The 2023 Meursault Clos Richemont 1er Cru is a rich, dense wine. Strong tropical accents play off a core of tangerine peel, passion fruit, brioche and sweet spice. It's a wine for readers who enjoy the more opulent side of Côte de Beaune whites. There is certainly no shortage of power, depth or structure here. 92-94 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.
