A fine mid purple, and with a really stylish, complex, lacy bouquet that is worth spending some time over. This is pretty stunning and very much not overly pumped up. A magical finish. Very fine. Destemmed. Drink from 2033-2040. Tasted Oct 2024. 95-97 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy.

The 2023 Echézeaux Grand Cru, which comes or Orveaux lieu-dit, has a nicely detailed bouquet. The one-third whole bunch is neatly integrated, allowing the red fruit to flourish. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins, beautiful red cherry and strawberry fruit and an elegant, very harmonious finish. Lovely. 93-95 Neal Martin.
