2021, Maison Benjamin Leroux, VOLNAY, 1er Cru, 'Clos de la Cave des Ducs'

Six barrels made including two new. All destemmed, and has recently been racked but will be going back to barrel. Ruby crimson in colour. Lightly reductive, hence a touch rubbery. This has suffered a bit behind the racking, I think, making it a bit stricter and less suave. 89-92 Jasper Morris MW.
