syn. Aconitum pyrenaicum
Northern wolf’s-bane. Yellow Monkshood, from mountainous regions of central and southern Europe. It is vigorous and hardy, and only rarely seen in gardens which is a shame as it is easy for a variety of soils, from clay to sand, in sun or part shade. Bright to cream yellow flowers. Excellent cut flower. Attractive to pollinators. Deer and rabbit resistant. Suitable for natural landscaping and low maintenance plantings. Some moisture preferred. Long lived, stately perennial. 1.2m tall.
