Phlox subulata (American phlox)

Another and new to me, bigger leaved and elegant mossy phlox covered in variable pink blooms which are almost striated looking and becoming paler as they age. A low-growing compact mat of small, needle-like bright green leaves. Flowers from spring to early summer, a weed-suppresser. Def. a good one, bold and big to mass plant. Hardy, Sun 60 cmW 15cm
