Primula bhutanica
Ready at the end of Septmeber
A choice primula for coniseuers, delightful and not too tough either.
Primula whitei and are members of Section Petiolares whose members have a crumbling seed capsule (rather than the seed capsule opening by valves like most species), and often have dimorphic leaves, that is, leaves of a different shape are produced at different times in the season.
The flowers are rich and luscious looking and borne freely in September on pretty wrinkly, sometimes slightky farinaceous.
