Bunny Bellies are named for the shape of their fuzzy purple undersides of their leaves. These plants make for a colourful, low maintenance addition to a patio or home.

Ideal for Beginner plant keepers or beyond.

Light Requirements: Bright Indirect Light is ideal.

Moisture & Soil Requirements: This plant prefers occasional watering and periods where it partially dries out. Use soil with good drainage - never let it get soggy. Reduce watering frequency in winter but provide lightly moist soil.

Growth & Nutrients: Upright and outward growth forming a short clump. Prune routinely to encourage bushy growth. Ideal for a hanging planter. Suits apartments or homes of any size. Feed with only small amounts of general-purpose fertiliser for containers from the start of spring each year to autumn when growth slows down.

Temperature, Humidity & Ambient requirements: Prefers warm environments inside, grows well in a range of humidity. Can grow in sheltered outdoor situations in warmer parts of NZ.

Toxicity: Toxic to pets and people. Don't chomp down on this ever.
