Top Note: Aniseed (Sweet, Medicinal)
Heart Note: Lavender (Fresh, Floral)
Base Note: Patchouli (Woody, Spicy)

This intoxicating fragrance recipe has been designed to counteract the scent profiles of soil and sap from a day in the garden whilst providing a nostalgic nod to heavy-duty hand soaps of yesteryear. But, they are more than simple scent oils, each has properties that keep your hands protected. Aniseed, Lavender and Patchouli combined have anti-microbial, anti-septic, anti-fungal & anti-inflammatory properties and help to treat wounds from a hard day's work.

Key Ingredients: Horopito

This is one tough cookie. Evolving over millions of years in NZ's harsh variable climate, this plant has developed an incredible chemical defence system to ward off attacks from fungus, bacteria and pests. Horopito has a special place in Rongoa healing system, with its properties first used by Maori to treat wounds and fungal infections.
Pumice

This volcanic ash is present in two forms in our Gardener's Soap: one you can see and the other you can't. The chunks brush away larger pieces of soil and the powdered form provides gentle exfoliation to remove the smallest embedded dirt particles and dead skin cells to leave your hands smooth and clean.
