MSA Extreme is a patented, copper-based algaecide that is very effective at eradicating green, black, mustard and all other forms of algae in swimming pools. MSA Extreme's unique formulation contains a metal-chelating agent. This holds the copper in water for longer to control algae more efficiently without causing stains or metal-plating, unlike most copper-based algaecides.
