Torlesse 2023 Chardonnay

Fresh, Citrus, Stone Fruits, Subtle Oak

The grapes for this fine example are from two different vineyard sites that give a range of ripeness and different layers of flavours. The structure of the wine reflects the soil type; the heavier soils provide body and structure, the lighter soils add fresh aromatics. You'll find ripe citrus and stone fruit flavours, hints of mineral characters and subtle spicy oak from barrique fermentation. The wine was made in a light oak style with the main focus on fruit. Like all of the Torlesse wines, this is insane bang-for-your-buck Chardonnay
