Foyle Pinafore

Pinafores have a wonderful history, being the ultimate utilitarian garment. Precious pinafores are styled to fit and flatter all figure types, coming in combination sizes which cover a wide range.

Your pinafore drops over your head with a rounded neckline. The fit has plenty of ease, with curved seam lines placed to flatter the figure, and the skirt is designed to accommodate a wide variety of hip and thigh shapes and sizes. The hem line is on the knee, the most flattering and fashion-proof length, with the seams running into the deep hem allowance, shaped to allow for plenty of lengthening or shortening.

There is a front pocket with a stitching line to keep your phone held towards the front of your body, to stop it from flopping around inside the pocket. If you don't like this feature then you can just pop out the stitching. The pockets are also set rather high to discourage you from slouching around with your hands in your pockets - you'll just knock your pinny out of shape, and your posture!

You can throw it on over anything: jeans; a skirt; shorts; leggings; a shirt; a bra; nothing! It’s fully lined so it drapes beautifully. It’s there to dress up your 'otherwear' and make you feel good.

The pinafore is made from ‘Eske’ - Blue & Black Herringbone, Flecked Donegal Tweed, manufactured using 100% Pure New Wool. It incorporates a flecked yarn which results in a wide colour palette so you can style it with most other colours. We’ve gone for a dark, consistently stylish, navy base with a multicoloured collection of flecks in a herringbone weave. The result is a fabric which doesn’t shout too loud but which gives a solid sense of style: a style statement for the entire outfit.

The pinafore is fully lined with TENCEL known for its softness, durability, breathability, and moisture-wicking properties.
