Slaney Skirt

Your skirt sits a little low on the waist, for comfort, and with a deep waistband and yoke line on the back which gives your bum a lovely shape. At the front the yoke line runs into the front pocket line and up to the front waistband where the closure is two parts, buttoned, to avoid the need for a zipper and to make minor waist adjustment easier. The pockets are styled the same as our pants, well placed pockets: not to encourage a pocket slump but to store the items you need to carry with you.

And the body of the skirt balloons slightly into a very flattering, flowing shape, allowing for a lot of swishing about and good pair of thighs! Beyond that, you can choose to buy a size down and wear the skirt on your waist, it will look just as good.

The hemline is on the knee, the most flattering length, and the seamlines at the hem are straight to allow for ease of lengthening or shortening.

The skirt is made from ‘Eske’ - Blue & Black Herringbone, Flecked Donegal Tweed, manufactured using 100% Pure New Wool. It incorporates a flecked yarn which results in a wide colour palette so you can style it with most other colours. We’ve gone for a dark, consistently stylish, navy base with a multicoloured collection of flecks in a herringbone weave. The result is a fabric which doesn’t shout too loud but which gives a solid sense of style: a style statement for the entire outfit. It is fully lined with TENCEL known for its softness, durability, breathability, and moisture-wicking properties.
