Stool, A stool made from Red cedar and Recycled Oregon, reworked to emphasise texture and surface. The surfaces are shaped through burning and wire brushing, drawing out the natural grain, historical nail marks and creating a highly tactile finish. While the weathered effect is produced through fast, man-made processes, it reveals the timber’s inherent structure more clearly. Due to the softness and porosity of the materials, reinforced joinery provides strength and stability, balancing the expressive surface
