Achillea millefolium | Belle Epoque
One of the endearing qualities of Achillea that we love is the beautiful mosaic of colours that are achieved as the flowers age. Belle Epoque starts off as raspberry in colour and as it ages, the flowers fade to an almost peachy shade. You can't go past Achilleas as a must-have plant in a cottage garden, naturalistic and wildflower garden, but they look equally stunning in your perennial border.
A must for lovers of bees and butterflies as the flat umbels of flowers really attract pollinators to your garden. A flower arrangers dream flower given the mosaic of colours in one flower as well as the longevity in a vase.
We have every variety of Achillea in our garden and I am in love with them all. Easy care and drought resistant once established. Full sun will give you the best blooms from late Summer right through into autumn. It's not hard to get addicted to these gorgeous flowers..you will love them!
