Also known as Butterfly Bush, we are delighted to be able to offer these lovely plants for sale. Very, very popular with pollinators, especially butterflies and bees, these are a lovely addition to the garden.

The Alba variety has a lovely, sweet scent with graceful long spikes of blooms that are wonderful as a cut flower.

The leaves are icy blue and covered in fine hairs, which make them good for coastal gardens that have some shelter from the wind.

Classed as large shrub, it grows to 2 metres tall and 3 metres wide but need a big cut back each early spring the maximize the flowers on them. This prevents all the flowers being at the top of the shrub where they're difficult to see. They bloom in Summer into Autumn and do well in most soils, but don't like to be too wet.

They love full sun but do well in part shade too.

Hardy and deciduous, may be trimmed for shipping.
