Phlomis - Bronze Flamingo

This variety of Phlomis produces stately burgundy stems up to 1 metre in height. Bronze Flamingo flowers in whorled clusters of hooded lavender pink that can show from late spring right through until early autumn. Phlomis is a long flowering plant that likes a well-drained position in a sunny spot and is quite drought tolerant once established.

Easily divided to provide you with new plants. The distinctive architectural stems also look attractive during the winter months. The stems make excellent cut flowers that can last up to two weeks in a vase, and are also excellent used in dried arrangements.
