Sterling Silver Ring with Waihi Obsidian

Big Sterling Silver ring, size 11, with a large, 30x22mm obsidian from Waihi New Zealand. This stone is a black with grey swirls in it, very characteristic of the Waihi obsidian and this stone won second place in the National gem cutting competition. The band is a double band of solid sterling silver with unique texture on the shoulders that I created by welding small bits of sterling silver together.
