An appealing combination of ripe white nectarine, some savoury oak and just a little reduction creates a complex aroma that is very appealing. The palate is creamy, with a savoury edge and just a wee touch of smoky, mineral complexity. Long, sustained finish. Drink from 2024-2029. Tasted: December 2023 by Jane Skilton.

This is very structured for a 2022, with fine, linear tannins that run the length of the wine, giving backbone, focus and a tight fruit structure. It’s very typical for a Central Otago pinot. So much clarity and focus to this. Drink now or hold.
