Original Sin

Artist Statement:

Inspired by my love ancient mythology, this piece draws upon the legend of Lilitu while paying homage to powerful feminine figures like Melusine, Lamia, and the Moirae. Part bird, woman, moth, and serpent, she embodies the eternal cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. As both creator and destroyer, she exudes mystery, mischief, strength, and sensuality. Wrapped in a playful, almost cartoonish form, she reimagines the timeless goddess archetype—an enduring symbol of feminine power across time and culture, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
