Pacific Harvest Wakame Flakes

This Pacific Harvest Wakame seaweed, also known as Undaria, has been harvested by hand from pristine New Zealand waters, then air-dried to preserve nutrients and flavour, before being quality tested.

Wakame is well known as a delicious ingredient in miso soups, but it is also a versatile everyday seaweed seasoning, which is highly nutritious. With a subtle, salty flavour, Wakame Flakes make a wonderful (lower sodium) salt alternative. Add to cooking instead of fresh or dried herbs to deepen umami and sprinkle on salads, stir fries, soups as a yummy garnish. Each serving offers an excellent source of Iodine and source of Magnesium.
