Nestled in the Apaneca mountain range of western El Salvador, Monte Sion is a family-run estate with roots dating back to the early 1900s. Grown at elevations between 1,250 and 1,400 metres, this coffee thrives in rich volcanic soil under the shade of native trees, supporting both quality and biodiversity. The farm’s focus on social and environmental responsibility providing housing, healthcare, and education for workers while protecting local ecosystems. It has earned it Rainforest Alliance certification. Primarily composed of Bourbon varietals and fully washed, Monte Sion offers a clean, balanced cup with notes of chocolate, roasted nuts, and gentle stone fruit sweetness.
