TOHAKU Candle - Large (Set of 1)

The TOHAKU candle is made from 100% Ha-ze (sumac) wax, with the white powder on the surface being a natural feature of Ha-ze wax. This candle is inspired by the atmospheric pine forests depicted in “Pine Trees Screen" by the renowned Japanese painter Tohaku Hasegawa.

The flame burns bright and steady, thanks to a traditional wick made from dried reed wrapped around a washi-paper core. With their plant-based materials, these candles also produce less soot and smoke for a cleaner burn.
