Ruahine Adventure Duet

The Adventure Duet was designed as a fast adventure racing double. Steve Knowles from Sportzhub was the original inspiration - he needed a double that could be raced under any conditions.

The hull has been designed for use in a wide range of conditions - lake, river, and sea. It retains traditional multisport lines but with a 550mm wide hull it's also stable. This means it's extremely fast when the hammer is put down, but it's stable enough to enjoy on a sunny day with a mate.

Storage space is also a key factor with this kayak. The Duet comes standard with middle and rear bulkheads which allow you to carry overnight or adventure racing equipment.

The Duet is ideal for situations which require a mix of ability levels, or ages. Let the stronger, more experienced paddler take the rear seat, and the front paddler can go at it without fear of tipping. It's also great for teaching people the finer points of paddling technique - in this situation put the less experienced person in the back and let them copy you.
