Woven Mudmat Geotextile

Our woven mudmat is a high-quality woven polypropylene geotextile that keeps mud where it belongs — underground.

Typical applications are carparks, driveways, farm tracks and any other application where a non-specified, woven separation textile is required.

Usually it is laid beneath hardfill and acts as a barrier between soft subsoil and your surface material, stopping mud from pushing up and preventing your hardfill from sinking down. The result is a firmer, longer-lasting surface that holds up over time. Specifications

Mudmat is a practical, cost-effective solution for a wide range of everyday applications:

- Light traffic driveways.
- Carparks.
- Farm tracks.
- Beneath concrete slabs. Key Benefits

- Stops mud from rising to the surface.
- Helps stabilise soft subsoils.
- Reduces hardfill loss — saving material costs over time.
- Economical alternative to specified geotextiles where performance requirements allow.
- Permeable design allows water to pass through freely. How to Install

Prepare the ground by filling any ruts or holes with soil or fill. Unroll Mudmat over the prepared surface and cover immediately with a minimum of 100mm of hardfill. Never allow a digger or truck to drive on uncovered fabric. Where joins are needed, overlap sections by at least 500mm.
