Sewing Classes: Machine Basics 101

Do you have a new Sewing machine, or an older one that you feel you just don't know how to use? Then this class is the answer!

You will be creating samples of each of the stitches on your machine and learning what each of the differet feet do.

Time permitting, you will also learn how to make a zippered pouch and use some of the skills you have learned :)

After this class, you will have the confidence to get started on your sewing journey.

Class Requirements:

- Sewing machine in Good working condition with power cord, foot control and all accessories (must have all feet and accessories)
- Good Quality sewing thread - if unsure we have some available to purchase in store
- Scissors, pins, fabric marking pen, Tape measure, ruler, hand sewing needles and machine needles size 80/12 or 90/14
- Bobbins for your machine
- 30 cm main fabric (cut 2x 8" x 10" and 2x 5"x2")
- 30 cm contrast fabric (cut 2x 8" x 10")
- 30 cm Zipper to match or contrast with your fabric
- 30 cm iron interfacing
- Notebook and pen
