The dipole element is housed in a pultruded fibreglass radome with black heat-shrink sheathing to assist ice shedding, while DC-grounded elements help reduce precipitation static. Built with heavy-duty aluminium boom construction, RG213 coax tail, and a compact side-mount design, the PRO-SHD3U provides a vertical radiation pattern with 3 dB gain.
