Description: The Chinese elm is a hardy and reliable beginner tree for beginners. It has lush green leaves in spring which turn yellow and fall in autumn.

Age: 5 years

Placement: Outside - Full Sun/Part Shade (Can live indoors from Spring through to Autumn. Must be placed in a cool room with adequate sun)

A Labour of Love

We begin by hand-moulding clay to make a unique pot and saucer. The pair are set aside to dry for days before they're fired in our kiln at high temperatures. Each pot is then hand glazed and fired in our kiln again at over 1200 degrees. The firing and cooling process takes approximately 24 hours for each kiln run. When our pot is finally ready, we select a suitable bonsai tree to place into it. The final touch is piece of lush moss that we propagate ourselves.
