Overview: Growsafe Groventive Insecticide is a high-quality solution formulated to protect your bonsai tree from a broad spectrum of harmful pests. Groventive works by being absorbed into the plant’s leaves and sap. When insects feed on the sap or chew the plant, they ingest the insecticide, effectively controlling the pest. This means you no longer need to thoroughly saturate every part of the plant, as with mineral oil sprays or other contact insecticides, resulting in less product usage and fewer treatments. While Groventive may be more expensive compared to contact insecticides, it typically requires just one application—sometimes two—to control even stubborn pests like scale and mealybugs.
