The new from Simpro is an innovative solution for bakeries and distribution hubs handling stacks of bread-crates. Featuring electrically-operated arms known as 'BearPaws', the clamps onto the sides of crate stacks, holds them firmly while they are lifted, moved and stacked, then releases them with the press of a button. This allows bread crates to be handled with unprecedented speed and safety.
Powered by two 12V/20Ah gel batteries, the 's electro-hydraulic system does all the lifting, allowing one person to effortlessly handle stacks of crates weighing up to 200kg. Operators can use simple visual indicators to to collect the desired number of crates, or engage the auto-height mode to instantly move the arms to the precise height needed for a given task. This allows skilled operators to achieve productivity many times higher than manual handling methods.
