Lakeshore with Birches

Celebrated Austrian artist Gustav Klimt painted in the summer of 1901. Klimt and his family would often escape Vienna in the summer and travel to the countryside where he painted some of his most celebrated pieces of landscape art. at the top of that list, oozing serenity and peacefully enveloping all who gaze upon it.
