Nadia Exhibition
The captivating, minimalist Nadia by Henri Matisse was painted in 1948 and has been reinvented into a gallery motif. Matisse was a passionate impressionist artist where the lines did not have to be entirely precise as long as the overall impression was understood by the viewer. Matisse created Nadia au cheveux lisse which translates into Nadia with straight hair - with swift lines of Aquatint printed on black lines of woven paper. Nadia is one of Matisse's most enamoring simplified forms, a gentle statement piece to bring any wall to life and is printed on 310gsm cotton rag paper, using archival inks. Nadia makes for a stylish addition to an array of interior decor styles.
